Why does my dryer take so long to dry?
A dryer moves hot, wet air out through the vent. When lint narrows the duct, that air stays in the drum, the clothes stay damp, and the cycle runs on. People often blame the dryer and buy a new one that behaves the same way, because the vent didn’t change.
Usual fix: A full vent cleaning from the dryer to the outside hood. If the dryer is still slow with a clear vent, the dryer itself needs a look.
