About Us
Lake County's Family-Owned Appliance Repair
Not a franchise. Not a call center. A local family business that has been fixing Lake County's appliances for more than 15 years.
Our Story
15 Years of Showing Up for Lake County
IyJ Repairs was founded by Israel “y” Janette Lopez with one guiding principle: One Call, One Fix. What started as a one-man operation performing Appliance Repair in Beach Park, IL has now grown to serving the entire Chicagoland area with reliable appliance repair - built entirely on word-of-mouth repeat customers.
For over 15 years, Israel and the IyJ team have been the people Lake County homeowners rely on for high quality Appliance Repair. Not a franchise. Not a call center. A real family business with a real person answering the phone - someone who shows up on time, gives you an honest quote, and doesn’t leave until the job is done right.
For the past 6 years IyJ has been serving customers for the top Home Warranty companies including American Home Shield, SMS, Midea, and more! In 15 years, we’ve repaired thousands of Appliances including but not limited to GE, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, Maytag, Speed Queen, Thermador, Viking, and Monogram.
If you’re looking for an appliance repair company you can trust be honest, affordable, and actually show up - you found us.
