What’s included in a dishwasher installation?
We connect the hot-water supply, the drain line (to the disposal or sink tailpiece, with a high loop or air gap so dirty water can’t flow back), and the electrical connection, then level and secure the unit under the counter. The most common install mistake we see is a garbage-disposal knockout plug that was never removed, which leaves a brand-new dishwasher unable to drain.
Usual fix: A working supply, drain and power connection under the sink is all you need in place. If a shutoff valve or outlet is missing, we’ll tell you before the install day.
